training

5:00 am wake up call for me tomorrow. I have to go down to Lewes, DE for my 3 day training.  I'm thrilled to go train in a place thats over 2 hours away for the park I'm actually working at thats 15 minutes away.  Luckily they have cabins down there so I don't have to drive back and forth each day.  I tell ya, after Africa I feel like I can handle anything. Our packing list is probably longer for this 3 day trip than my entire month in Africa.  You really don't need so much crap.  I wouldn't mind just comin down with a book bag. But since this is America, I have to care about how I look, therefore I need a duffel bag. Ridiculous I tell ya! I'll miss havin my dog sleeping by my side...speaking of which!
I took Riley to a friend's pool to teach her how to swim. That turned out to be a successful disaster. Lets just say I forgot to clip her toenails the night before.  I am just cut up from head to toe. Big Cuts mind you. It looks as if I've cornered a rabid raccoon and lost the fight.  I was holding her chest up to keep her swimming vs. escaping. She was paddeling so hard that her legs must have looked like the road runner's legs from that Wile E coyote cartoon. OUCH, Ouch, ouch.  But, she did SWIM. She can totally do it. Next time I know to wear a suit of armor.

Robot Unicorn Attack

I would buy an iPhone just so I could play robot unicorn attack. That's how addicted I am to it right now.  I'm competing against my brother and his scores are higher than mine. NO! That is unacceptable! I will play till I beat him and I don't care if it takes all summer.  I did manage to get up to 50,000 but its still not enough...I swear, If its the last thing I do, I will CRUSH Sean's "wishes"

Sculptor Critique #1

My sculptor teacher sent me the pictures from my first assignment.  Felt like it was so long ago.  The idea was to levitate yourself and I was going for a kind of ascension theme. I was thrilled the piece didn't break under my own weight but I could hear the foot piece cracking. Luckily it made it through the critique.
